Please do not use this. Instead use $.extend( [], foo ); Otherwise it is not an
array, only an object (without length property and join-function, ...)

Which is why no one is proposing the page ID be used to determine the order of anything. It's simply proposed that the page we create to give restored revisions a home get its old page ID back. To reiterate: this proposal is about restoring page IDs when restoring revisions. It wouldn't change the existing behavior concerning timestamps or revision IDs or anything else that's used for ordering. Therefore, there are no out-of-order risks because ordering isn't touched. equally clearly they are not, so my assumption was that the time stamp was at least primarily used. Adding a namespace attribute on the page's title wouldn't hurt terribly, but would be redundant and could cause confusion if xml dump files are edited in some way such that the namespaces no longer match. Would require update to the .xsd schema file as well. May require updates to other dump processing infrastructure to maintain it through bulk data dumps, otherwise it's not of much use. String comparison can be expensive (depends on language) and you have also to check with a colon after the namespace to avoid false namespace (a page named Template Test is not a template). If we want to fix specific bugs, those are concrete bugs that can be fixed. I think saying replace the whole thing is overkill and I'm going to go ahead and WONTFIX on those grounds. However this could very easily be hit by the updater running from the web. set_time_limit() for the web probably wouldn't be a bad idea. Disabling possibly super-long updates with a warning could be another course of action. What took so long is: Processing next 50 rows... 50 done. ... Processing next 50 rows... 369980 done. Creating msg_resource table...ok Creating module_deps table...ok ...ar_page_revid key doesn't exist. Adding ar_revid key to table archive... ok ...ll_lang is up-to-date. Purging caches...done. Checking site_stats row...done. Checking existence of old default messages...done. I def gave up earlier on the web-installer but since it read that error message as last entry with nothing happening for ages I assumed it got stuck... but maybe it really got because of set_time_limit().
