I'd say that WikiData is the component this bug belongs to. Here are the
relevant styles:
The headline is a h1 class=wb-value-row wb-firstHeadingspan
class=wb-valueFoo/span/h1 (plus lots of other classes and ids, but these
are the relevant ones).
Normal Vector styles are
h1 { font-size: 188%; }
Beta Vector styles are
#content h1 { font-size: 1.833em; }
(which is almost the same, but more specific)
WikiData styles are
.wb-value-row { font-size: 100%; }
.wb-firstHeading .wb-value { font-size: 188%; }
So in normal Vector the .wb-value-row style overrides the style for h1, and the
headline ends up at font-size: 188%, while in Beta the font-size: 100% do not
override the 1.833em;, and the final size is 1.833em * 188% = 345%.

One issue with shallow clones is that git-review will pull the entire history anyway, except it will do so silently, and at point in time where the user is not expecting it (that is, upon patch submission). Another thing to consider is the reason Git is so slow. Network costs are only a part of the story. Until the user runs 'update-guest-additions', the VM will run with an old version of VirtualBox Guest Additions, and thus an older implementation of VirtualBox Shared Folders, the filesystem driver used to share a path between guest and host; its performance is abysmal, especially when creating lots of small files. Your argument is to be pragmatic. I love pragmatism. But this is going to far.
Nested links are illegal.[1] If fundamental stuff like this is ignored, what's
the point in having a spec?
It may be true that it works in current versions of all major browsers. But I
still remember a time where nested links were completely ignored. Are you sure
these browser versions aren't used any more? It also causes a number of other
problems. For example, simple CSS selectors like
.mw-echo-notifications a { background:red !important; }
cause strange and probably unexpected results. Tooltips become misleading:

Please see my longer comment about the clickable areas in the overlay.[2] My
favorite solution is to shrink the clickable regions as shown in the attached
screenshot. This will solve this bug as well as other issues.

If the application was not asking for more than it needed but it's just that the user isn't aware of what the application really needs, then we've just let the user break the application's functionality right at the first step, which isn't good. On the other hand, if the application was actually asking for more than it needed, then the OAuth admins failed to vet the initial request from the consumer properly, which means the real problem was caused way before the user sees the authorisation request. I'm open to being convinced for the need for this, but right now I'm not seeing the reason for this.
