If I now delete it, leaving it blank as before,the list of suggestions does not go away. And there seems to be no way of making it go away. The article scrolls in the tiny space left in the bottom. It's not compatible with the Open Font License (OFL) and I doubt article 3.1.1 is compatible even with GPLv3 article 6, I mean the part which begins «The following must be also Redistributed together with the Derived Program, or be made available online or by means of mailing mechanisms in exchange for a cost which does not exceed the total costs of postage, storage medium and handling fees [...]». I see the authors reserved the right to update the license. This is wrong, you must use three separate rules, even if they all specify the
same color: #999;, as a browser should ignore a rule completely when it
contains an unknown selector. I.e. the file search.less should write
:-ms-input-placeholder {
color: #999;
}
:-moz-placeholder {
color: #999;
}
::-webkit-input-placeholder {
color: #999;
}
(and perhaps a comment to explain why three different rules for the same style
are necessary, as this isn't obvious).

The article badges stored in Wikidata (WikibaseRepo) should be displayed on
each client's interwiki list. As stored in the config, there is a mapping from
badge id to an icon url. This icon should be used. At the moment, the icons are
added via the css list-style-image property. Perhaps we can just use this css
code:

If the original patch only uses CSS to prevent it's selection, one can add CSS to override it and allow the selection again on the custom toggle element, or use a CSS class with the same effect. At the development plan [1] it says Each sitelink can have zero or one badge attached to it. This does not match the current implementation which allows multiple badges. So the implementation needs to be changed to only supporting one badge. However, if we decide to keep the option of multiple badges we face some other problems. First, the ui gets harder to be implemented on Wikidata. This is not a real problem though. But a real problem is that we cannot determine which badge we want to display on the client. The only option I see to solve this issue is either to create another config variable (very ugly) or to only allow one badge as stated in the development plan anyway. While trying to get a list of all bugs marked as RESOLVED FIXED for some
specific components from a specific date[1], I got the following software error

The immediate fix for FeaturedFeeds is to reject feed timestamps set so far in
the future as invalid.
The longer-term fix is to make the handling of 14 character timestamps
consistent across MWTimestamp and Language::sprintfDate, either by making
MWTimestamp decline to represent dates beyond 1-01-01 using TS_MW format,
or by making Language::sprintfDate handle TS_MW values longer than 14
characters.

I have investigated a little bit and the problem is related to the
stopMobileRedirect cookie.
The reaon is that the domain is wrong in with exotic setups (so the cookie
does not apply).
For example if:
* The server name has more than 3 parts (like wiki.wikimedia.org.uk) and you
don't have setup $wgMFStopRedirectCookieHost.
* You access the server under an other address like specified in
$wgMFStopRedirectCookieHost
In a try to fix this I can propose following changes to MobileContext.php.
