Web browser: --- Bug #: 32923 Summary: Have some way to specify use user's time preference in #time and #timel Product: MediaWiki extensions Version: any Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: Unprioritized Component: ParserFunctions AssignedTo: wikibugs-l@lists.wikimedia.org ReportedBy: bawolff...@gmail.com CC: van.de.bug...@gmail.com Classification: Unclassified split off from bug 32351. User's have preferences for how to display time. Should perhaps have some way to use those in #time . See discussion on bug 32351 (And some of the obsolete patches). Possible implementations: *Have {{#time:|Some time}} use the user prefs (but then how do you specify just date, just time or date and time) *have some sort of new formatting characters to denote user's preferences time (but then this breaks from having all formatting characters being handled in Language.php) *Wontfix and Tell users to use {{ #formatdate: {{ #time: Y-m-d | 2011-11-10 01:00 YAKT }} }} -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug.
