Assuming you refer to gerrit.wikimedia.org in your browser and not to gerrit mail here (unclear), what you're asking for seems to be make website A (gerrit) fetch and display some content from website B (Bugzilla). Yes, there have to be a request involved. Is this too costly? Can it not be done when Gerrit parses the 'Bug: xyz' link?
