Summary of today's discussion with @thiemowmde:

- Don't replicate code in the model, use a common base class (or trait), so 
facets are allowed in all data model nodes.
- Inject facet declarations (a FacetDefinition service or some such) into each 
object that supports facets. This allows facets to be checked against the 
declared type, as well as listing of supported facets.
- Define all aspects of a given facet in a single place, similar to the 
declaration of data types (or like ContentHandler).

, and the save-link stays 
insensitive. Trying to push return triggers a successful save.

thiemowmde lowered the priority of this task from "High" to "Low".

What I did to this point was pure refactoring that did not changed anything 
critical. Not different from other refactoring we do, e.g. when we remove 
unused public methods. I merged some very trivial modules (mostly 1 or 2 files 
only) that are not used outside of the same directory. Such minor changes do 
not need to be in a sprint.

I do not plan to do more than I already did to this point.

I have seen the same issue in Chrome. But it vanished when I cleaned my 
localStore (open a JavaScript console and type `localStore.clear()`). It can 
not be reproduced any more when you have done this.

This is typically a ResourceLoader issue. ResourceLoader stores all JavaScript 
modules in localStore. Clearing your browser cache typically does not clear 
localStore. ResourceLoader does this, based on a timestamp per module. It could 
be that the timestamp for the relevant module is not set correctly. But which 
module should that be? And why does the issue only appear in Chrome? This still 
confuses me.

The Russian Wikipedia community also prefers links to Commons categories. But 
at the same time "in other projects" sidebar is used from the very beginning, 
and it is no problem. There is an additional script that checks for the Commons 
category (by property 373, but you can use other methods), and replaces the 
link to the gallery with link to the category.

there right now (see https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T94989). We consider 
that a blocker for taking the sidebar out of beta, thus it will be fixed before 
that happens.
