[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] T294803: WDQS query returns dead links instead of SomeValue values

2022-05-14 Thread CamelCaseNick
CamelCaseNick added a comment.

To address the visualization within WDQS (and not the dereferencing): Would a
new prefix `wdunkownvalue: ` added
to `wikibase.queryService.RdfNamespaces.NAMESPACE_SHORTCUTS.Wikidata` be a
feasible solution? It doesn't sound too complex, and the descriptiveness of the
prefix might guide WDQS users to the correct conclusion regarding its meaning,
even those not familiar with skolemization and well-known URI as skolem IRIs.

Hey, thanks for the question. B windows (new name for SWAT windows) and
"needs an expert" are kinda mutually exclusive. If a task needs a specific
person to do it, it shouldn't go through B That's because B is meant for
things that can be deployed by "anyone" (usually, that equals "low-risk"
patches). Tasks that need specific treatment, specific knowledge or similar
should generally go through their own deployment window. Thanks for your
understanding!

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] T308389: mw.ForeignApi always gets a CSRF token, even if it can't use it

2022-05-14 Thread Legoktm
Legoktm closed this task as "Invalid".
Legoktm edited projects, added MediaWiki-extensions-CentralAuth; removed
Wikidata, Wikibase-JavaScript-Api.
Legoktm added a comment.

That request isn't solely to fetch CSRF tokens, it serves another purpose:

 * Query the foreign wiki to see if we're already logged in there in
the user's browser, which
 * means that there's no need to query for and use 'centralauthtoken'
parameter.
 *
 * To avoid wasted requests, get a CSRF token at the same time.

  (from
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/extensions/CentralAuth/+/refs/heads/master/modules/ext.centralauth.ForeignApi.js#81)

The request scheme is described at
https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/plugins/gitiles/mediawiki/extensions/CentralAuth/+/refs/heads/master/modules/ext.centralauth.ForeignApi.js#9
 - basically if you are not logged in remotely, you need to get a short-lived
centralauthtoken for each foreign request. But if you're logged in remotely,
which is what the meta=userinfo is for, then we don't need centralauthtokens.
And since we're making a request anyways, it makes sense to fetch the CSRF
token at that time, if possible.

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] T308389: mw.ForeignApi always gets a CSRF token, even if it can't use it

2022-05-14 Thread AlexisJazz
AlexisJazz created this task.
AlexisJazz added projects: MediaWiki-Action-API, Wikibase-JavaScript-Api,
JavaScript.
Restricted Application added a subscriber: Aklapper.

TASK DESCRIPTION
**List of steps to reproduce** (step by step, including full links if
applicable):

var api = new mw.ForeignApi('https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/w/api.php');

api.get({format:'json',action:'wbgetentities',props:'sitelinks',ids:'Q1'}).done(function(data){});

  **What happens?**:
  Get:

  -
https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/w/api.php?action=query=json=https%3A%2F%2Fcommons.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org=userinfo%7Ctokens
  -
https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/w/api.php?action=wbgetentities=json=https%3A%2F%2Fcommons.wikimedia.beta.wmflabs.org=sitelinks=Q1

Links without origin to open in browser:

  -
https://wikidata.beta.wmflabs.org/w/api.php?action=wbgetentities=json=sitelinks=Q1

  **What should have happened instead?**:
Just get the second link. You didn't need nor use that CSRF token.

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] T308384: Save button when editing a statement is not enabled when the old item's label matches the new item's QID

2022-05-14 Thread Nikki
Nikki created this task.
Nikki added a project: Wikidata.
Restricted Application added a subscriber: Aklapper.

TASK DESCRIPTION
  To reproduce:

  - Start adding a new statement
  - Select a property with the datatype "wikibase-item" (e.g. Sandbox-Item
)
  - Enter "Q1" and select the disambiguation item Q1
 (Q165472)
  - Save the statement
  - Start editing the statement that was just added
  - Focus the input field and add a space at the end to trigger the item lookup
  - Select the item universe (Q1)

Expected behaviour: The "publish" link should be enabled, so that the change
can be saved.
Actual behaviour: The "publish" link is still disabled, even though the value
of the statement has changed.

The pair of items can be any pair where the old item's label matches the new
item's QID, e.g.

  - Q2 (Q404776) and Earth
 (Q2)
  - Q3 (Q416042) and life
 (Q3)
  - Q150 (Q18166377) and French
 (Q150)

It also happens for qualifiers and references.

[Wikidata-bugs] [Maniphest] T308180: Can't Set CORS with Blazegraph, which is needed to communicate with Wikidata Query Service GUI on Localhost

2022-05-14 Thread Superraptor123
Superraptor123 added a comment.

  Attempted another solution, listed here
, still no dice.
This potential solution involved:

  1. Downloading the `.jar` files, `cors-filter-*.jar` and
`java-property-utils-*.jar`
  2. Putting those files in the
`./wikidata-query-rdf/war/target/war/work/com.blazegraph/bigdata-war/WEB-INF/lib`
 directory.
  3. Adding the following to
`./wikidata-query-rdf/war/target/war/work/com.blazegraph/bigdata-war/WEB-INF/web.xml`:

CORS
com.thetransactioncompany.cors.CORSFilter

  4. Attempting the Wikidata Query Service GUI query still fails, still results
in `net::ERR_FAILED 200` and the CORS issue persists.
