The replacement of the current LilyPond property (which uses the string datatype) may necessitate an increase in maximum string length for the musical notation datatype. The current limit for the datatype is 400 characters, but there is at least one existing value which is longer. There may, of course, be licensing issues (as noted in the linked discussion). However, I don't think it should be overly concerning: normal wiki pages (obviously) don't have similar length limits for content; and copy-and-paste copyright infringement should be more difficult than with other properties, because the user needs to either deliberately find a non-CC0 LilyPond source file or be able to write valid LilyPond syntax. The issue occurs in both Firefox and Safari. However, on Google Search (Q9366) <https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Q9366> (which, unlike the Spotify item, is not protected), the issue occurs //only// when I'm logged in. (The logged-out interface is fine for both items, since non-autoconfirmed editors wouldn't be able to edit the Spotify item anyway.) Considering that the mobile site has a column width of 280px for `wikibase-statementgrouplistview` and the desktop site's `wikibase-snakview-body` is 417px wide at maximum, using a zoom as well as a page size might be appropriate. (Alternately, the mobile site could use a different page size, but that might open a few cans of worms.) (I used Vector and Minerva in Firefox on a Mac to get those values. It's somewhat surprising to me that Wikibase on desktop still doesn't have any sort of responsive design, but I digress.) The page resizing seems to work, although a different size might be better. The code of the last score (which I modified slightly to reduce the character count) doesn't match the rendering with , so something might be wrong with it. On the other hand, if it's exceedingly unlikely that anyone will put in the work to create new extensions, then the scope of T208494 should probably be considerably reduced to only allowing Commons uploads of the formats, since thumbnail generation would effectively require four new extensions (as well as work to enable thumbnails for LilyPond files). If that occurs, it would probably affect this task, since it would become possible to upload music notation files to Commons much sooner. I'd suggest having a query timeout for querying inverses, since trying to load every inverse of "instance of human" would probably break something. I would definitely submit this for the Community Wishlist Survey in November, since the only reason "Automatically add inverse properties" didn't get into the top 10 in the November 2018 survey was that @ArthurPSmith and @Mahir256 (correctly) noted – after a week of voting, when the proposal was still in the top 10 – that adding all the inverses would be fairly problematic and unworkable. There is already an Extension:Score (#mediawiki-extensions-score) for LilyPond, which does rendering and someMIDI audio output, ~~but it doesn't seem to have an updated version of LilyPond~~ut. Scores using this LilyPond datatype would also probably be limited to four hundred characters. Longer scores in the public domain (or compatibly licensed) would have to use some othera different solution, although this may be desired. Jc86035 added a comment. when 4 digit years are being used, the precision is century, and the first two digits of the year are 20, then the date could be anywhere from 1 January 2000 to and including 31 December 2099 @Jc3s5h The user interface says "20. century" for +2000-00-00T00:00:00/7, and if a user types that phrase into a time field, that is the value that gets stored. A similar thing is done for millennia. Oh, I actually didn't realize that when I was writing up the wishlist proposal. Sorry about that. I thought it had been updated at some point, possibly because it had been a while since I had downloaded and used LilyPond as an application, and it was updated during the time that I used it. indisputably inferior Yes, this is quite unfair in retrospect. I did have to remove some things attributable to incorrect memory from the wishlist proposal after I'd posted it, because I had essentially put everything I could think of in there to make it sort of actually have a chance to be worked on by Community Tech (although I'm not sure if that would actually have helped in the end). I think part of the problem was that I was comparing the LilyPond features available in Extension:Score directly to both the MuseScore desktop application and the MuseScore closed-source online player. It's also because I was frustrated with trying to add snippets into articles; on w:en:Double bass, I think it took me about an hour to figure out that the paper size had to be changed to resize the image, and I had to set the instrument to something else because the audio was coming out as piano. I still think it should be possible, at some point, to be able to link to full scores in their original source format; it would be nice to at least support hosting .mscz/x and/or .ly files on Commons. (Is it common for full scores to be written with LilyPond?
