For me that would be ok too. As you already mention: the biggest problem with that: how to document it that people have a chance finding it.

Create example queries for it?TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T189937EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: JonasCc: Jonas, Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE, MichaelSchoenitzer, Aklapper, Lahi, Gq86, GoranSMilovanovic, QZanden, EBjune, merbst, LawExplorer, Xmlizer, jkroll, Smalyshev, Wikidata-bugs, Jdouglas, aude, Tobias1984, Manybubbles, Lydia_Pintscher, Mbch331___

An alternative solution would be to wrap results optionally in a element (e. g., if the string has a certain language code, like qqx-code), which would give you support not only for \n but also for \t. Do you think that would be useful? (Downside: it would be extremely hard to discover.)TASK DETAILhttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T189937EMAIL PREFERENCEShttps://phabricator.wikimedia.org/settings/panel/emailpreferences/To: Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDECc: Lucas_Werkmeister_WMDE, MichaelSchoenitzer, Aklapper, Lahi, Gq86, GoranSMilovanovic, QZanden, EBjune, merbst, LawExplorer, Jonas, Xmlizer, jkroll, Smalyshev, Wikidata-bugs, Jdouglas, aude, Tobias1984, Manybubbles, Lydia_Pintscher, Mbch331___
