Excellent!! So great to (hopefully) see so many current and former WiR's in
one place :-)

Relatedly:
There is also. Meetup tomorrow (Saturday) evening at 18:00 at the
bar/Restaurant Oasi for GLAM COORDINATORS.
This is specific to people who are responsible (as staff, volunteers, board
members) for glam collaborations in their chapter/region/user group - so we
can better collaborate together internationally and cross-coordinate our
projects.

Possibly the largest ever number of Wikipedians in residence is going to 
convene tomorrow (Saturday) at a meetup during Wikimania 2016.


If you are/were a Wikipedian in residence, please come on Sat 25 Jun 
2016 at 10:00 to room 50 of the Esino Lario school. Details:

During the pre-conference days, there were two days of hackathon where 160
people worked on the software that we use in our Wikimedia projects.

Tomorrow, Saturday, from 18:00-19:00, the hackathon showcase will be held
in the school's main hall (venue 52). During this showcase, many
participants will present their hackathon accomplishments in brief

[Wikimania-l] No parking in Pensa's square

Hi all,
there is a prohibition of parkng in the Pensa's square (near the community 
village).

The local police asked to park the cars in other parking area.

At the moment there is a French jeep parked there, the local police is looking 
for the owner to ask him/her to move it in another place.

If you need a place to store your material for the village, it's sufficient to 
go in the town hall​ and the local police will give the access to the storage 
area.

There are two places in Varenna, one self service, one dry cleaning, both
near the main square, Piazza San Giorgio. I can get addresses if needed.

They probably close at 7pm.

several of the appartments have laundry machines. I suggest getting in
touch with the desk at piazza italia, maybe one of the owners lets you use
theirs.

main hotel, Hotel Centrale, also does not offer clothes washing service. I
was hoping for access to any public washing machine.

Is everybody washing their own laundry in the sink? Can I get confirmation
about what others are doing? I also hear that there is no laundry service
in Varenna, 30 minutes away.
