Dear Wikimedians, 2023 has been a hectic year for Wikimedia Community User Group Türkiye and the people of Türkiye. On the one hand there was a huge disaster and pain at the beginning of the year; on the other hand there were celebrations during the entire year for the centenary of the Turkish Republic; the parliamentary and presidential elections were also held in 2023. In this atmosphere wikimedians in the country felt utmost responsibility for fighting against misinformation/disinformation; did their best in their wiki contributions and presented their work as a tribute to the centenary of the Republic.
