[Wikimediauk-l] Wikimedians in Residence in Amman

2020-02-20 Thread Raya Sharbain
Good afternoon everyone,

The American Centre of Oriental Research in Amman
has hired two part-time Wikimedians in Residence to work on the Open
Jordanian Heritage
initiative. I'm working closely with them and was wondering if there's a
chance to connect them with experienced WiRs in the UK.

Warm wishes to all,

Raya

Re: [Wikimediauk-l] Wikimedia Commons question

2017-03-25 Thread Raya Sharbain
Hi Steve,

Wikimedia Germany developed a tool that determines the license information
of Commons items and makes it more user-friendly to determine how you can
use the item (e.g. how to attribute, in which context you can use a
particular item in, etc.): https://lizenzhinweisgenerator.de/?lang=en

Hope it's relevant to what you're looking for!
