And there is very little interest in creating one as index pages moves are rare, and unlikely to happen. However, I sometimes make such renames on plwikisource half-manually with my bot support. All pages in Page namespace need to be moved and transcuding pages need to be fixed. This is slow and unefficient. However, if you describe which index and why you need to be moved I can look at it. Re: [Wikisource-l] Index page move with corresponding Page: move
I would think that pywikibot (through Wikisource-bot or your own version) would be able to make the moves of Index and Page pretty easily. Wikisource-bot doesn't have move rights at Commons, however, that is not insurmountable, nor a pre-requisite. As Ankry said, the other issue is if you have already transcluded pages as then your main ns pages will need to be modified, though that is usually not insurmountable either. If Wikisource-bot (hosted on toolllabs) is of interest to your community, we can give it a trial, and you can work out whether it is a worthwhile for longer term use. Re: [Wikisource-l] Index page move with corresponding Page: move
Thanks both. This is one index page of 200 pages only. And 25 PAGE: have created and not transcluted to NS:0 page. T here are some mis-spell in our language found. So I have to move the index page with subsequent 25 page. ( yes I can do it manually pages 25). I need some help ( step by step) to run Wikisource-bot from tool-lab. The help of toollab is so lengthy. https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Contents Jayanta On Sun, Jan 24, 2016 at 5:21 PM, billinghurstwrote: > I would think that pywikibot (through Wikisource-bot or your own > version) would be able to make the moves of Index and Page pretty > easily.
