Re: [WISPA] Outstanding Networking Trainer Needed
I want to thank everyone who recommended someone (or who volunteered themselves) for this training need. I have a list of four people now and I'll be following up with each of them, then forwarding several names to my ISP client who will make the final selection. The bottom line is: 1. Thank you all for your great recommendations. 2. I have enough good candidates to meet the need right now. jack Jack Unger wrote: An ISP client of mine that I just provided wireless training for has asked me to recommend an instructor who could train them in Cisco router fundamentals, administration, and networking. I'd like to recommend someone to them who: 1. Can travel to the east coast to deliver a training course on-site for three professional-grade ISP employee/managers. 2. Is an accomplished and experienced router/networking trainer. 3. Possesses a friendly, flexible, down-to-earth teaching style (like mine) :) 4. Is dedicated, conscientious, and has a passion for empowering the class to succeed (again, like me) :) If you are, or if you know of such an individual, I'd appreciate it if you would let me know off-list, on-list, or via the telephone. Re: [WISPA] photo cell power
I don't remember the name offhand, the next time I get near one, I will get it for you. We have been disappointed with the convergence time, and distance coverage in 5 GHz, but this may be due to a flaky AP. We will be doing some more work and range testing in the next couple of weeks. I think you had asked about the discount for Cisco wirelss purchases over 25,000. I have got an exact answer, but the discount is in the 40-45% off list range.
