So far so good from what I hear from one of the techs in the field: 40 MHz channel @ ~4 miles with a NanoStation 5 as the AP in downtown area - LOS. Can you get IPSEC VPN to work through these, we've had problems with the NS2 and 5 allowing it to passthrough. Hey folks, I bought a new pickup back in April and have been using a DC power inverter to power a CPE while in the road checking stuff...etc. This is a PITA and it seems that I have 40 patch cables in the floorboard all the time. I would like to see some pics of installs and hardware to do a permanent install on my truck using MT and an antenna. I was thinking about mounting an indoor MT box in my tool box and putting two omni's (5.x 2.4) mounted to the tool box.
