[WISPA] Proxim Gigalink 6451R

2013-10-23 Thread Bob Moldashel
I have a link of Proxim Gigalink that we just removed for a hospital client.
They closed the remote clinic this was mounted on so it was no longer needed.
Comes with power supplies, documentation, power supplies, and new power
connectors. It has fiber interface and 1 Gbps full duplex throughput. 1'
integrated antennas. Asking $1200 for this. Buy it here and I will donate $200
to WISPA.

Questions and photos available offlist.

Re: [WISPA] tablet customer sign off thing

2013-10-23 Thread Chuck Hogg
I've been doing this for years on our system...it's custom built but
integrates into Platypus. Essentially, the customer fills out the
information for their contract, signs, then it asks if they would like a
copy sent to their email account. Then in their Platypus account it is
added as a document in their profile.

Regards,
Chuck

Funny, we were just talking about this today. During sign-up we were
going to give customers a website to go to where they can electronically
sign the contract and then we file that away. We're trying to reduce
 paperwork as much as possible.

Love to hear about this as well. We are currently using paper. We send
the document to the customer over email and then the tech has a
signature page that they sign. Our lawyer, says they should sign it and
  we should retain it.

I forgot to ask in Vegas last week. We have a new customer policy
being built. We will be enforcing it on new customers. It will be on
our website. I do, however, want customers to sign not just review
something but I don’t want to have paper. I see there are some doc or
proposal aps for Ipad and other tablets. I was curious what, if any,
others were using, and what kind of experience people were having. My
concerns would be that we would need to store these to a different
system, which is not a real big deal. Anyways, anything to get away
from using paper. I assume that the same could be used for signing off
on installs, service calls, site checks and other purposes.
  thanks
