I haven't had CommTrain for over 6 years and my boss then was a certified
trainer. Back then you were a "Certified Climber and Rescuer" if I recall
correctly.

With the safety one training, I am termed "Trained Climber" on my ID card.

Re: [WISPA] Safety One Tower Training

2016-10-08 Thread David Funderburk

We have sent one person to Safety One and one to Commtrain. There was
nothing wrong with Safety One if you are looking for a crash course. If
it's a long term employee who will be doing a lot of climbing, Commtrain
is much more thorough. There is a third tower training company but I've
forgotten their name. They have been a WISPA member in the past. They
seem to be better than the two listed above but I have not tried them
yet.

[WISPA] Look good on pink day at WISPAPALOOZA

2016-10-08 Thread Jim Patient
Here Ya go folks,

This auction will close on Wednesday so you can wear them for Pink day on
Thursday. 100% tax deductible with 100% going to the National Breast Cancer
Foundation.

We will match the winning bid with a donation of up to $500. I would like to
see other vendors match it as well for whatever you can afford to give. Here
is a link to the donate page for folks that want to match or just donate
without bidding the auction.
https://fundraise.nbcf.org/fundraise?fcid=764856

Breast cancer doesn't just affect women. One of our own WISP brothers is also
a survivor. Let's do what we can to help find a cure.
