[WISPA] Information needed Cloudflare or Akama?

2019-12-28 Thread David Funderburk via Wireless
We are looking for a company to provide very high end Distributed Denial
of Service Mitigation services.

Does anyone have any information on the resale of Cloudflare or Akama?

And how would you compare the two services?

Any other companies in this service area that should be considered?

I am certain he does not want any big attention about this but I am
posting it anyway. Mac Dearman is having heart bypass surgery this
morning. I know many of you know Mac on here so please say a prayer
for an old friend to be healed. Mac was one of the founding members of
WISPA and led the efforts to put Mississippi and Louisiana back
together post-Katrina. He is still operating his WISP in Rayville, LA
and he is a dear friend to me and many others.

Thank you,

[WISPA] Facebook ads

2017-01-19 Thread David Funderburk

If you are or know of a WISP/ISP who has successfully used Facebook ads,
would you please send me some links to it? We are going to give it a try
but wanted to see what others have done in our industry.

Thanks

Re: [WISPA] Safety One Tower Training

2016-10-08 Thread David Funderburk

We have sent one person to Safety One and one to Commtrain. There was
nothing wrong with Safety One if you are looking for a crash course. If
it's a long term employee who will be doing a lot of climbing, Commtrain
is much more thorough. There is a third tower training company but I've
forgotten their name. They have been a WISPA member in the past. They
seem to be better than the two listed above but I have not tried them
yet.
