everything runs on 24 volt; you are going to need to take the variable power from the batteries and provide clean 24 volt, that is where the POE-24 is going to work. You are going to want the auto boot function also. We go from the solar controller(SS-MPPT-15L) to the DL POE-24. We use a 24 panels and 24 volt agm battery array. We have 3 sites like this. We standardize on this configuration which allows us to scale from simple repeater to a 7 ap site and to easily spare the sites. You also get auto ping/reboot function with the Poe-25 and the ability to reboot each AP individually. With the mikrotik you get many capabilities that a normal switch would not give you. What I have is 7 AP's on a tower. I need to connect tnem a togeather as you would using a switch. Each AP has its own POE and power.
