I don't know the specifics, but all of the negotiations about changing the rules for 5.2 and adding 5.4 GHz was with the DOD, so I doubt those RADARs that you describe are the culprits. I'm not sure the airport really means much- we have some 5.4Ghz deployed at several locations within 6 miles of Dulles and we have not seen anything yet. I have one link in particular that has been experiencing some automatic channel hopping due to radar type interference. This is on a Motorola Spectra link and the firmware has been upgraded as recently as yesterday to try and solve false radar reporting. It still jumped channels twice last night after the upgrade. They show up on the Spectras as 10 MHz.
