I have a NanoStation running as an AP right now. Works fine, but the lack of AP type tools like sig streanth, client list and so on make it very hard to use. What do you mean lack of? There is a client list, Station MAC Signal, dBm Noise, dBm Tx Rate Rx Rate Idle (sec) 00:16:xx:xx:xx:xx-62-9636M54M15 00:18:xx:xx:xx:xx-69-9636M1M15 and per station info, scan mode (in client and ap modes) and many other tools. I'm still up in the air about the bullet. By the time you add antenna and power supply, the cost goes up. But then again, most of us have antennas and power supplies to spare. EOC-3220's seem to work pretty well for us. 50 for a bullet and at best 50 for an antenna and 25 for a power supply makes them the same price as the cheapest Engenius ones. Pretty sure 75 for an antenna and power supply is awfully generous. The bullets do work well as CPE devices. As APs or in ptp bridge setups there are still issues with firmware stability that need to be ironed out before using them in critical links. Log into the web interface, on the first page click on extra info, click on stations, and you can drill down further on the station list for more detailed info per station. For scanning click on tools on the first page, click on site survey. The ubiquities don't lack for the features you are describing, have you used them?
