I told my new installer that I hired 4+ years ago that for each 100 new
subs we turned on, I'd give him a $1.00 per hour raise.

Re: [WISPA] Employee Incentives

2008-06-06 Thread Jim Patient
We give our installers one month package rate bonus for any new
customers they sell. We also do this for door hanger kids or customers
that refer clients. The installer will hang a few door hangers in the
area they are in if they have time between installs. If they sign up a
$99/mth sub they get $99 for the sale on top of the install and
additional cable run money. It gives them incentive to sell.

Re: [WISPA] Employee Incentives

Are you using a full time employee to do your installs?

We don't hand out extra money, thats what our goal is, make extra money.
So naturally after working hard to get that extra money, we keep it :)
Around here, we call that extra money Profit

Sounds like the best idea I've heard.

I'd be bustin' my ass to get those next 100 installs done!! Not to
mention the wife incentive factor. lol

Work harder, get paid more! Simple, yet solid thinking!

Re: [WISPA] Employee Incentives

2008-06-05 Thread chris cooper
We pay our customer svc. Employees a spiff on each sale they close. Our
resi marketing efforts are designed to drive calls to our CSR staff. We
want our staff to have a real incentive to convert those calls into
sales. This also gives them an incentive to follow up with people who
call in but don't commit to buy on the first contact. When call volume
is low, they pick up the sales tickets that are still open and give
those people a call back just to follow up and give them another
opportunity to buy. We can have the coolest technology in the world, but
if we don't sell services we don't grow our business.
