Re: [WISPA] Mixed Single and dual polarity?
Yes For example. If you mix an Airgrid 1x1 in a Sector that you have only 2x2 radios link NSM5 NB22 LocoM5 or NB25 in the time that it will transmit your entire sector performance will fell down to 1x1 in the lowest MCS that your Airgrid has in these airtime. So here we recommend to separate 1x1 sectors using Bullet as an AP with Aigrids as a CPE. And 2x2 sectors Rocket as an AP and LocoM5 and NSM5 and NBs. Obviously 2x2 will cost a little more but will give you 2x more throughput. Re: [WISPA] Mixed Single and dual polarity?
It works ok as long as all are AirMax for UBNT. The single pol units take a preformance hit. Not a good idea if the AP is heavly loaded. -- On 10/10/2013 3:35 PM, Josh Luthman wrote: You mean in Ubnt? Re: [WISPA] Mixed Single and dual polarity?
Actually this will probably be Mikrotik and I'm looking at the possibilities of upgrading what is now single pol to dual... There is plenty of performance single, just planning on adding dual.. But much appreciation on the feedback... On 10/10/2013 02:12 PM, Blair Davis wrote: It works ok as long as all are AirMax for UBNT. The single pol units take a preformance hit.
