There can be several reasons, but one reason could be that Wireshark's "resolve 
host names" option is turned off.

Select "Name Resolution" from the View menu, and make sure that "Resolve 
Network Addresses" has a checkmark next to it.  If it doesn't, select it, to 
turn it on.

Simple answer: you can't find something that isn't there.  We don't have any 
such network tools built into Wireshark.

[Wireshark-users] whois,traceroute,ping

I have a very simple question :

When one right clicks on a packet we have a LOT of options.

I couldn't find a whois,traceroute,ping option.

It's been months that I have been looking for it.
