It's more like "if somebody decides to write the code and make a pull request, 
we'll look at it and, if it's in shape, we'll merge it".  A lot of what's in 
Wireshark isn't from a roadmap, it's from somebody deciding they want the 
feature supported and adding code; we don't have comprehensive plans for 
features.

Hi,

I came to know of direction filtering for captures with tcpdump per

But from CLI options, seems like dumpcap/tshark doesn't offer similar
capability?

Is there any plan to consider that for future?

If it is supported, how to filter by direction with dumpcap and tshark?
