They were not able to provide much help with the problem. I was referencing
SignTool that comes with VS 2005 in the email I sent them. Their response was:
"In response to your email, we know of no restrictions on file size regarding
Microsoft's latest Signing tools. However seeing as you're able to complete the
signing process on a file which is 293MB but cannot complete the same process
on a file size of 1.1GB, then this would seem to indicate that such a
restriction exists. You may want to consider contacting Microsoft support to
see if there is a workaround that would allow the signing process to be
completed on such a large file or there would be any additional steps one need
to perform before attempting the signing process."
I just got this today and have not yet tried emailing Microsoft about SignTool.
You are correct Magus, I did know about the 2GB cab file size limit.

If your using Verisign, they should be able to answer your questions expecially
since you should be paying them. Also a note if your CAB is over
2 gigabytes its corrupt. It will allow you to create it, but just try reading
out of it. Miscrosoft has an article about it I believe.
