the green dots are afterimages... optical residue, the green is the complimentary color of the pink. when the pink dot disappears in the rotation, you see the after image... It also has nothing to do with staring at middle, if you cover up most of the screen, just the process of taking the pink away temporarily makes the green appear. I'd bet, it has something LARGELY to do with the grey background as well as the temporary removal of pink. p
