Sorry not to report back more promptly, the usual bedlam and madness

The Brisbane Meeting this month was a smaller affair than the first
one, but a lively meeting happened nonetheless.
Marc's presentation was very well received.
Last month, Tony told us how to make our websites standards compliant.
This month, Marc told us why we should.
:)
A very interesting and detailed open forum followed - for those who
were unable to attend, you *really* missed something!

Next meeting should be Wed September 8 - put it in your diary now! :)
warmly,
Lea

Re: [WSG] Footer

2004-07-06 Thread Ern Marshall
Frstly thanks to everyone that answered
How about this for a crazy thought reguards getting a footer connected
to a external style sheet,
If I made a small image map ...called it a background image and placed
it at bottom centre.
Is there any reason why that could/would not work?

[WSG] Footer

2004-07-05 Thread Ern Marshall
I am very new to CSS, I have curently built a external style sheet for
my page at
http://www.hotkey.net.au/~marshalle/
Which works very nicely, But I have tried to find out how to add a
footer to the page.
I.E. to place a link back to the home page and a link to my guest
book. This would be placed in the external style sheet so that it would
appear on every page
But to no availI just can't seem to get it right
This is as far as I have got with the CSS
http://www.hotkey.net.au/~marshalle/BASIC5.css
Can you be so kind as to piont me in the right direction
