Re: [WSG] please help validate
thanx people for testing so far! but still noo solution ;( i cut the flash object and place an image instead: still crashes btw: crashes not only on my pc - so the problem must be part of the website not the local XP or IE installation so next thing i'll do: turn off some of the css rules ? maybe it's the way i include the css: in the html i wrote snip link rel=stylesheet type=text/css media=screen, projection title=styles href=/themes/cialog2/jscss/screen.css / link rel=stylesheet type=text/css media=print href=/themes/cialog2/jscss/print.css / snip and in screen.css we go: snip @import url(/themes/cialog2/jscss/basic.css); @import url(/themes/cialog2/jscss/drupal.css); /* ** LEFTCOL */ #leftcol h1 { color: #666; font-size: 1.4em; font-weight: bold; margin: 20px 0 0 0; } #leftcol h2 { color: #999; font-size: 1.4em; font-weight: bold; margin: 20px 0 5px 0; } snip etc these import rules ... are they known to be critical ? Re: [WSG] Letterhead/footer using print style?
feel free to analyze http://www.cialog.com/ in screen and print version. css rule for the print-only part is in css/screen #print { display: none; } and css/print #print { font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; border-top: 0 none; border-right: 0 none; border-bottom: 1px solid #555; border-left: 0; margin-bottom: 1em; } additionally other parts (like header image and navigation) are hidden in the print version: .hide, #logo, #meta, #visual, ul#nav, #footer, .right, .off, hr { display: none; } regards stefan On 01.
