Absolutely correct Lawrence. I (as a CMS developer) understand very well the need for standards compliant systems and a place to discuss the issues. That is why encourage anyone that is interested (and sadly, many developers are not) to join and use the WSG-CMS list. Just log in to http://webstandardsgroup.org/manage/ and select it from the mail lists in your email preferences.
Please move this thread to that list for any further discussion so that those who are not interested don't need to see the traffic, that is indeed off-topic, on the mail WSG list.
