Dimension 4 works just fine with Windows 10. I've been on Windows 10 for 
quite some time and have no problem with Dimension 4. I'm running 
version 5.31.331.0.

[wsjt-devel] Setting Level To Decoder

I mostly use WSJT-X on 6M, and have several neighbors who, depending on 
the directions of our beams at any given time, can be as strong as 40 dB 
over S9. I run a K3 with AGC set to Slow, so if I set drive to the 
decoder at 30 dB, any station weaker than about 15dB over S9 will be 
below the level of the A/D. At times, and in certain directions, I'm 
also blessed with a noise level of S5 or less (and, at times, 20 dB 
higher).


To keep those S5 and lower signals within the range of the A/D, I've got 
to drive the sound card a lot harder. I use a sound card (Tascam US100) 
that has LEDs to indicate Green for signal presence and Red for digital 
clip. This has caused me to adopt the practice of setting level to the 
decoder in the range of 60-70 dB, keeping those weaker signals within 
the range of the A/D, while allowing me to also decode those stronger 
signals without having to ride RF gain.

You need to set the properties of Dimension4 so that is "Run as 
Administrator". I still use it here after working through that maze.
