Great Idea. As I have a FLEX-6700 and 8 instances of WSJT-X running, I 
would be very pleased to save space on my screen.

I've been playing around with making WSJT-X smaller.

At this point I have attached CTRL-M to toggling a few items like the 
Menu, and headers.
I also minimize the spacing and rearranged icons a bit so this is the 
comparison once you minimize the window to the smallest you can 
without impacting things too much.


For those with limited screen real estate this could make a fair bit 
of difference in their use.
Could change the "Generate Std Msgs" to something shorter too like 
"Gen Std Msgs"


Is there any interest by Joe/Bill in this idea?

Testing r6157.

If I set the Spec to 10%, a part of the scale is truncated. At 0 the 
scale is completely gone...
