Re: [wsjt-devel] WSJT-X 2.5.4 GA Release
Looks good The problem with CAT with the IC 9700 that was in 2.5.3 (and was OK in 2.5.2) is resolved in 2.5.4. All is OK. No problems with a TS-590SG or the IC-9700. All works fine. Good job. Now I did notice this. A station was calling in the format: CQ MA RI CALLSIGN (also no grid square in his text string) So, I figured I would give him MA, and I double clicked on him, and 2.5.4 would not reply. I figured that particular format was not valid. But just in case, this is just a FYI. I had never seen that string format before, so I have no info if it would have worked in earlier revisions. In working some So Americans this afternoon on 10m, replying to their CQs worked just fine. 73 Joe, K1YOW ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
Re: [wsjt-devel] Kenwood TS890S and Win10 21H1
In Windows 10, make sure the microphone setting is enabled for WSJT-X. The mic needs to be enabled for each application (security). Before connecting the Rig I installed the Kenwood driver. Software is WSJT-X 2.5.0 64bit. Same procedure on Win7 and Win10. How is your rig connected to your PC for audio? Do you have a CAT connection? Which application are you trying to run? 73 Bill G4WJS. ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
Re: [wsjt-devel] MAP65 Decode issue
Lloyd, One suggestion. I assume you are on Windows. Next time you stop decoding, do a control alt delete and see what processes are running and if any are chewing-up resources. For example, if your web browser is GOOGLE Chrome, it once and a while starts a task checking for bad software that really chews-up CPU bandwidth. (It can be disabled by disabling its inheritance.) Windows 10 also starts up a telemetry task that checks for things that may hurt a future update now and then. Just a thought. I can see very strong traces but no decoding. This is an intermittent issue. I close the program and restart it. This does not cure the issue. I then reboot the PC and the problem is resolved. Later on, the issue pops up again. Has anyone else had this issue? I have also downloaded the 00_0001.iq example. When I open the file I see all of the signals on the Wide Graph but, I get no decodes.
