Hi Jay,

as the T/R period increases with FST4 and FST4W modes the bandwidth narrows.
The consequence is that the Rx filters in the decoder are closer together
and far more candidate signals per Hertz can be detected. The red background
is a reminder that the analysis bandwidth is unnecessarily wide and may lead
to increased false decodes, and certainly will increase the CPU resource
required to decode. The thresholds vary according to the T/R period
selected.
