Re: [wsjt-devel] LoTW / No LoTW
As a non-LoTW user, I'd have to agree with Uwe. I'd much prefer there be a way to highlight non-LoTW folks. Maybe that way, folks in the USA who do use LoTW would stop calling me, especially when I'm calling for DX. I would really appreciate, if the logic is the other way round, so that only stations NOT using LoTW are highlighted by red foreground color. Re: [wsjt-devel] LoTW / No LoTW
It's not the colour, but the usefulness of the option. So, it's UNCHECKED. Problem sorta solved. On Wed, Nov 28, 2018 at 9:39 AM Bill Somerville wrote: > On 28/11/2018 15:27, Lee. If you cannot agree in that, perhaps you can make the logic for LoTW / No LoTW switchable? Thanks for your understanding. Hi Uwe, you can get a similar effect by using a lower intensity colour for the LotW user highlighting. For example you might choose a mid-tone grey for the LotW highlighting foreground colour. Another option is to disable LotW user highlighting if nearly all calls are highlighted. There seems little point in selecting LotW users specifically if the probability of QSO partners being LotW users is high. 73 Bill G4WJS. ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel

It also does not work well with the green highlighting for those who are color-blind; People with either protanomaly or deuteranomaly may have problems in this case. The result for red lettering on a green background can be two indistinct non-contrasting grays.I would actually suggest not using red at all for this. 73 de Lee KX4TT From: DG2YCB, Uwe [mailto:dg2...@gmx.de] I would really appreciate, if the logic is the other way round, so that only stations NOT using LoTW are highlighted by red foreground color. ___ wsjt-devel mailing list wsjt-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/wsjt-devel
