[X2Go-User] PXE x2go questions
Hello, I'm using PXE thinclient in a gigabit LAN for a GNU/Linux KDE session. I have a two questions/issues: 1) Which is the best compression method? There are a lot of alternatives like 4k-png, which one may I choose? and may I use the LAN option? 2) sometimes the Shutdown system button in thinclient, doesn't work. Ok you think it is only related to client version? I tried it with the most recent version downloaded from the website last tuesday, and also with an older version downloaded in january this year. That is the version that I am running on Vista with some success, although it is a bit tricky as well. (as described) I will lookup exact version numbers tomorrow for use in a bug report. My main reason for describing the problem here is that I would like to know if it is already known, before spending all the effort to send a detailed bug report with all version info and getting an immediate *marked as duplicate of bug number 11* in return.
