[X2Go-User] Can't get full screen on Raspberry PI

2018-01-25 Thread Blake McBride
Hi,

I have a Raspberry PI running their latest OS (9.1 Stretch)
And I am running x2goclient 4.1.1.0

I can't seem to get full screen. If I set x2goclient and set it to Display
Fullscreen, it starts up and works fine except that it is a window on my
screen (having a head line with minimize, atc. buttons). Then when I exit,
it changed the config to Custom 1920x1078.

In fact I just noticed that if I select "Fullscreen" and then click "OK",
when I go back in, it's changed to Custom 1920x1078. Same thing with
Display Use whole display.

Nothing I do will make "Fullscreen" stick.

Not having any problems on my LinuxMint box.

Thanks for any help!

[X2Go-User] x2go client GUI does not display on Windows 10

2018-01-25 Thread Gladia Hotan
Hi,

When I run x2go client on windows 10, the icon pops up on the taskbar and
the process is running, but the GUI window does not display. I tried
uninstalling and reinstalling several times and also tried the suggestions
at this link
, but
the GUI still does not appear. I also tried changing my screen resolution
in case the GUI window was being drawn offscreen, but the GUI still does
not appear. How can I troubleshoot this further?

Best,
Gladia

Re: [X2Go-User] TCE usb mount

2018-01-25 Thread Stefan Baur
Hi Widu,

Sorry for the late reply. Paying customers taking priority ...

There was a regression in the patchscript in the Wiki.
I *think* the fix I just applied should re-enable USB mounting.

Please update your patch script to what's in the Wiki at

Regarding sound output on the server - usually people want sound on the
client, so pulseaudio is started on the client and the proper variables
set on the server that point to the pulseaudio instance on the client.

If you want to output sound on the server instead, you will have to set
sound to disabled in the X2Go session config, and figure out how to
start pulseaudio on the server with the proper parameters and permissions.

Kind Regards,
Stefan Baur

Re: [X2Go-User] qt5 application window not rendered

2018-01-25 Thread Bernd Schubert
Hmm, very weird. So after upgrading to current mesa didn't help either,
I wanted to try newer QT, as there are no QT ppa packages available. I
just updated QT5 from the next ubuntu version (18.04). Now these libs
seem to incompatible with any installed qt5 package - it purged all
related packages. I don't know if the update would have helped - there
was nothing left to test with... So I went back to the previous QT
version and also just let it install qgit. Somehow this made it work
again in x2go. Not the ideal way to solve it, but at least it works...
