My plan was primarily Bodhi because it runs nice and fast, but at the moment I'm also testing with Lubuntu, Ubuntu, etc. Anything with Ubuntu origins as LTS (22.04, bodhi 6 ~only 20.04) is okay, with LXQt, LXDE, IceWM, anything fast. A light, fast distribution that can still be managed graphically would be ideal, which unfortunately sometimes contradicts itself. Puppy etc. are great, but with such I have repeatedly reached my limits when setting up the complete system as a server / x2go server with DHCP, cifs, etc. Greeting, Olaf ___ x2go-user mailing list x2go-user@lists.x2go.org https://lists.x2go.org/listinfo/x2go-user

That is why I said you shouldn't ask for tech support, if you try to contact him, but rather ask where to ask for it while the forum is down. I tested again several hours on my ESXI and on a local PC + Clients with several new VMs with Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Bodhi, ... and different browsers, but everyone except Pale-Moon stutters. Yes. This is a browser issue, nothing the distributions could fix. What is the easiest way for me to test x2goKdrive? There was an email regarding the release, but unfortunately I can't find it in the source. Which Linux distribution and version are you looking to install? Hi Stefan! At the top of their website there is now a notice of a server failure. And since somewhere on the website it is explicitly mentioned that users shouldn't send questions about technical things by e-mail, I refrained from doing so. I tested again several hours on my ESXI and on a local PC + Clients with several new VMs with Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Bodhi, ... and different browsers, but everyone except Pale-Moon stutters. What is the easiest way for me to test x2goKdrive? There was an email regarding the release, but unfortunately I can't find it in the source. The drop down menus included there freezes the browser for a long time as far as I can tell. Since the Pale-Moon forum hasn't been available for a long time and I don't see any other support, I can't get any further. Sad. I completely missed the forum having issues. However, you could try shooting Moonchild an E-Mail - not with your tech support question, but asking where to ask for tech support in the meantime while the forum is down. Does x2goKdrive work with the TCE? Then Kdrive would be my last chance with x2go and I would try it out. I've created X2Go-TCE-Live builds with KDriveclient included in the past, and we used them at several events to demo X2Go-TCE. I can't speak for X2Go-TCE-NFS, but would expect that it should work, too.
