[X2Go-User] Session with a single application

"Session Type": "Application" -> command "thunar" and/or "/usr/bin/thunar" in the right box => Application starts but freezes immediately (or at least doesn't respond to input/mouse). [X2Go-User] x2go parallel to LTSP
Hi! Is it possible to use x2go-server on a server parallel to LTSP? If so, would it be possible a) to decide when booting the client whether to load an LTSP image or the x2go-TCE? b) take over an LTSP session remotely via x2go? A light, fast distribution that can still be managed graphically would be ideal, which unfortunately sometimes contradicts itself. Re: [X2Go-User] x2go and jerky websites
Hi Stefan! At the top of their website there is now a notice of a server failure. And since somewhere on the website it is explicitly mentioned that users shouldn't send questions about technical things by e-mail, I refrained from doing so. I tested again several hours on my ESXI and on a local PC + Clients with several new VMs with Ubuntu, Lubuntu, Bodhi, ... and different browsers, but everyone except Pale-Moon stutters. What is the easiest way for me to test x2goKdrive? There was an email regarding the release, but unfortunately I can't find it in the source. Re: [X2Go-User] x2go and jerky websites
Hi Stefan & Uli! Unfortunately, it has now turned out that Pale-Moon is not compatible with one of the websites that I absolutely need. The drop down menus included there freezes the browser for a long time as far as I can tell. Since the Pale-Moon forum hasn't been available for a long time and I don't see any other support, I can't get any further. Uli, Thank you for the information about the differences. Due to the stuttering in browsers, I have made several attempts with the settings in the past, but had no significant success. Does x2goKdrive work with the TCE? Then Kdrive would be my last chance with x2go and I would try it out. Greetings, Olaf On Thu, 11 May 2023 22:11:19 +0200 Olaf Staubus wrote: > Hello Stefan, > > Thank you for the great tip. [X2Go-User] temporarily disable pxe / Kernel panic
Hello! In my existing system, x2go including the pxe server runs on a virtual machine. Since I've had a few problems with it for a long time, such as windows closing immediately when calling up an already running session from one PC to the other, I would like to test a new installation in another virtual machine. Re: [X2Go-User] x2go and jerky websites
Hello Stefan, Thank you for the great tip. Pale Moon really runs a lot smoother. Would that work much better with KDrive than this combination with PaleMoon? If I can optimize this a bit, then I could save myself the switch to LTSP that was actually planned for this reason. Hello! I've been using x2go for a long time and I've always had the problem of jerky scrolling on websites. In the meantime, however, I use cloud services in the browser, and now another one is added. This is practically no longer usable with my x2go installation.
