Re: [X2Go-User] Display stopped working??

2015-01-26 Thread Cohen, Neil
Thanks for the info - I¹ll keep that in mind for next time. In this
particular case, I ended up rebooting both the mac
and my Linux system and the problem went away - no idea what triggered the
issueŠ

But thanks for getting back to meŠ

SELinux is installed and in permissive mode.

I¹m not sure if this is something to do with X2go or with Fedora I¹ve

Existing windows on my screen seem to be working fine, but I can¹t open

Kermit, I'm not too sure if you can expect that many qualified replies
to a compile question on x2go-_user_. Not saying it's off-topic here,
but you might have better luck over on x2go-_dev_, where the diehard

Hi Stefan,
Between some notes I'd taken last year when I worked on this, and some blind
luck in guessing, I was able to get the client to build.

I do have some further questions, but I'll probably ask those on the dev
list. Thanks!

[X2Go-User] Building x2goclient from sources

2015-01-26 Thread Short, Kermit
Greetings!
I am trying to build the client from source tarballs. I am following the
steps outlined at

http://wiki.x2go.org/doku.php/wiki:development:build-howto-linux:x2goclient
I have downloaded and untarred the nx-libs_3.5.0.13 full tarball.

   after I
  cd nx-libs_3.5.0.13/nxproxy
  autoconf
  ./configure --prefix=/custom
  make

   I get the following:
if [ -x makedepend ] ; then \
makedepend -I. -I../nxcomp -I. -I../nxcomp \
-I/usr/include/g++ -I/usr/include/g++-3  -f Makefile
Main.c 2/dev/null; \
fi
touch depend.status
gcc -c -O3 -DVERSION=\3.5.0\ -DPACKAGE_NAME=\\ -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\\
-DPACKAGE_VERSION=\\ -DPACKAGE_STRING=\\ -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\\
-DPACKAGE_URL=\\ -DX_DISPLAY_MISSING=1 -Wall -Wpointer-arith
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations
-Wnested-externs -I. -I../nxcomp Main.c
g++ -O3 -DVERSION=\3.5.0\  -DPACKAGE_NAME=\\ -DPACKAGE_TARNAME=\\
-DPACKAGE_VERSION=\\ -DPACKAGE_STRING=\\ -DPACKAGE_BUGREPORT=\\
-DPACKAGE_URL=\\ -DX_DISPLAY_MISSING=1 -Wall -Wpointer-arith
-Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wmissing-declarations
-Wnested-externs -o nxproxy Main.o -L../nxcomp -lXcomp
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lXcomp
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [nxproxy] Error 1

Do I have to compile/install anything in the nx-libs parent directory
beforehand?
Thanks!

Re: [X2Go-User] Testers Wanted: PyHoca-GUI for Windows 0.5.0.4-20150125

2015-01-26 Thread Giger Bengt (ID BD)
Hi

PyHoca-GUI 0.5.0.4 was just released with very few changes compared to
0.5.0.3. So I will not be making any new 0.5.0.3 builds.

I did manage to fix the bug with Pageant authentication (bug #767) after
0.5.0.4 was released.

So here's a build of 0.5.0.4 with the Pageant fix: 0.5.0.4-20150125
http://code.x2go.org/releases/binary-win32/pyhoca-gui/releases/0.5.0.4-20150
125/

Please test and provide feedback (via either replies or by reporting
bugs). Since it is has been so long, I am concerned that there might
 be Windows-specific regressions.

I have seen no issues yet, tested on Win7-64 vs. Fedora 21, authentication
with pageant works. Advanced features not tested yet (audio, folder or
printer sharing), will try to test today.

Regards
Bengt
