Re: [Xastir] cygwin xastir 2.0.6 64 bit
Yoo, How about an install script for XP 32bit? A lot of hobbyists still use XP of older simplier laptops for field use. Would be nice to get Xastir running with cygwin. I'd be interested in the 64 bit installation script for cygwin/Xastir as my kids have a 64 bit Windows 7 machine upstairs with beaucoup disk space. I'd love to get exposed to this environment. I tried to figure out cygwin a year ago but couldn't get to the right information to make it understandable to make an attempt to work with. (Hint, hint. Links aprectiated) :-) ;-) I have alot of Ham friends who would find this helpful since they are not Linux literate. I did the win-Xastir install CD years ago and have been thinking it's time to get that going again. Xastir still has client features that are lacking else where. I'll be doing both 32 and 64 bit - set up for a network install. 73 Bill, WA7NWP ___ Xastir mailing list Xastir@lists.xastir.org http://xastir.org/mailman/listinfo/xastir

This one? http://xastir.cvs.sourceforge.net/xastir/xastir/README.CYGWIN?view=markup Except for one or two file versions, it's still pretty close. If it weren't for the Seattle Marathon next week I'd devote a few ATU's to updating it a little..but I'll have to wait until after all the Holidays are done before I'll have that amount of time...
