This is specifically telling you that the Lesstif:XmTextInsertWcs
function is not implemented.  We call that function in db.c at line
1736.

I would suggest trying a newer version of Lesstif to see if they
have that function implemented in the current version, or better yet
try OpenMotif.  OpenMotif is the code which Lesstif is trying to
emulate.

The documentation commit was not an accident.  The commit of db.c changes
*was*, and Jerry said as much in his undo-commit (Recall one of my tests from 
the wild. It escaped before its' time.)

Cannot reproduce.  I've got a version updated from CVS 5 minutes ago, and
messaging works Just Fine.

Could you have a transmit option turned off?

Using lesstif v 1:0.95.2-4

That's the only flavor that's worked worth a bean on my machines. With Open or 
others it's always had problems.

I just tried forcing a reinstall (using Fink) and it still does that. If I 
reinstall, would I need to recompile Xastir?

Maybe try updating from CVS again and recompiling if you haven't done so.

The other day I updated CVS and upon compiling it gave errors. After
recompiling to no effect, I updated from CVS and compiled again. This time
it worked. I was thinking someone may have been working on the files which
caused it to break. Seems like the same thing is happening now, given that
Tom had no trouble.
