These urls were not live on Friday due to an oversight, but they are
now. Apologies for the inconvenience.

Ian.

Re: [Xen-devel] Xen 4.9.0 RC3

2017-04-28 Thread Pry Mar
Hello,

the tarball has not been uploaded to the URL in the mail.

Its 4pm BST when I send this, so maybe there is still time before everyone
leaves for the weekend.

Is it possible to post an xz tarball with a Debian delta naming scheme?
Something like:
xen_4.9~rc3.orig.tar.xz

thanks,
PryMar56

[Xen-devel] Xen 4.9.0 RC3

2017-04-28 Thread Ian Jackson
Xen 4.9.0 RC3 is now available.

You can check it out from xen.git:

  git://xenbits.xen.org/xen.git#4.9.0-rc3

For your convenience there is also a tarball and singautre at:
  https://downloads.xenproject.org/release/xen/4.9.0-rc3/xen-4.9.0-rc3.tar.gz

https://downloads.xenproject.org/release/xen/4.9.0-rc3/xen-4.9.0-rc3.tar.gz.sig

Please send bug reports and test reports to
xen-de...@lists.xenproject.org. When sending bug reports, please CC
relevant maintainers, the Julien Grall the Release Manager
and me (standing in for Julien this week).

We are aware of one build bug: the x86 instruction emulator fuzzer
utility is now built by default, but there is a problem where it fails
to build with older GCC versions (GCC 4.3 and 4.4, at least). The
workaround would be to apply ba39e9b21083 from xen.git#staging
"x86emul: correct stub invocation constraints again", or to comment
out "SUBDIRS-y += x86_instruction_emulator" in tools/fuzz/Makefile.

Thanks,
Ian.
