[Fonts] problems displaying opera

hi!

after updating to xfree86 version 4.3.0, my opera browser just displays 
squares (or nothing) at the control bars, the favorites, etc., however, the 
webpage is displayed correctly. 

i use suse 8.1 professional and the opera version 6.03-266.

does anyone know what's the problem or could anyone help me, please?

i need help to configure an ati radeon 9700 graphics board at my suse 
8.1 professional system.

please could somebody post how this works and what xfree version i need 
and where i can exactly get it.
