[XFree86] Does i855GM work now?

Is the i810 driver fully taking care of all i855 issues now, like the 
memory allocation and displaying 1400x1050? I guess it would take a 
while to get around testing it myself since probably knoppix won't touch 
the 4.4 release due to the licensing. Yeah, I could test the binaries 
myself, but I need my laptop operational. So, have anyboy tested? :)

[XFree86] Status for i855GM and 1400x1050?

What is the status for this chipset and resolution? Will it work native 
in 4.4.0?
I've had no success of getting the mode up and running in both 4.3.0 
with 855patch and 4.4.0 rc2(installed from binaries provided by 
xfree86.org).
