I was just being a little curious and I have no special interest in
these issues, but anyway thanks to you and Markus for the provided
information.

However, this so called ownership of design (whatever that is) sounds
very similar to the ownership of look and feel (whatever that is) and
I personally find the tought of both of these issues -- for the lack of
a better word -- desturbing.

I was reading the free FontLab Manual the other day and it says that
you can patent fonts. Whether this is actually true or not I don't
know.
