Your best option is to use 3.3.6 or to port the 3036 support from 3.3.6
to the s3 driver in 4.3.0.  It shouldn't be too hard, someone just
needs to do it.  The problem is the hardware is getting scarcer, and
fewer people use it so there is little incentive to port the old code
over.

3026 DAC in the mga driver that could be used as an additional
reference.

I am currently using version 4.2.0 and understand
