Yes, and probably not, respectively.

Re: [XFree86] Is Compaq X032 PCI Video Card Supported?

2003-12-31 Thread J. Silverman
Hi Matthieu,

Here is the output on the video card from the NetBSD kernel:

vga1 at pci0 dev 13 function 0: Compaq QVision (rev. 0x12)

wsdisplay0 at vga1 kbdmux 1: console (80x25, vt100 emulation)

wsmux1: connecting to wsdisplay0

As for the other commands you mentioned, I was only able to get relevant
information from using the scanpci command:

pci bus 0x cardnum 0x0d function 0x00: vendor 0x0e11 device 0x3032

Compaq Device unknown

Thanks,
J Silverman

Could you send us the output of the 'dmesg' command on your system ?
This will include the PCI identification of your card as probed by the
NetBSD kernel.
The output of scanpci or 'pcitweak -l' may be good too, if you have
one of these commands on you system.

Sorry, but there's no support for this card in XFree86. You may try
the vga or vesa drivers if this card has a VESA compatible BIOS on
it.
