In the radeon driver, MonitorLayout was a driver option in the UMS /
pre-RandR 1.2 days. It's been gone for over a decade.

Note that ServerLayout != MonitorLayout, and ServerLayout should only be
necessary if multiple "Device" / "Screen" sections are defined.

I've found examples used:
LVDS
AUTO
on https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Xorg/Multiple_monitors, and
CRT
CRT+LFP
on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/XineramaHowTo

but no example anywhere where two LCDs are used. man xorg.conf has no instance 
of
the string MonitorLayout. man modesetting and man radeon didn't help either. :-(

I'm looking due to
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=32430
that tells me I have to have a ServerLayout for DisplaySize and at least one 
other
option to be able to work.
