Jan, That last important tip solved the problem :) I can't believe I missed 
that line in the documentations.

Sorry for the late reply; hadn't seen this.

The reference is correct, this engine uses the Potential Blocks [1] and was 
proposed in the paper you sent in the link.
I haven't managed to find a simple script to use it so far. Will keep you 
posted if I can get my hands on a simple working script.

hi everyone:
My Ubuntu version is 16.04 and i want to install yadedaily with deb file. 
when i search the installation method in there i found the answer in 
[https://answers.launchpad.net/yade/+question/678447].
In this qustion,  the website to install the deb file is for ubuntu 18.04 
and  i know i should change  bionic to xenial .  
But when i type those code to the Terminal,  it show that "error 404:Not 
Found".  At the same time, when i was trying to visit  this website, the same 
errors appeares again.  
So,  i want to know how to install yadedaily for my system?(ubuntu 16.04)

The true average strain is the proper volume average of local strain.
The wrong one is a weighted average where the weights do not follow from a 
proper partition of space.
Yet as you probably realize they are nearly identical.

Have a look at [2] for an idea how to save multiple files. Will need some 
modification for PyRunner, something like:
